Maybe you should trust a native German speaker (or use a typographical dictionary). I can confirm that "sperren"/"Sperrung"/"Sperrsatz" in typography all relate to (letter-)spacing. Search for "Sperrung" here: https://ronaldfilkas.de/uebersetzung-englischer-typografischer-fachbegriffe/

In German (like English and many other languages) some words have identical spelling, but different meaning dependent on usage. Take for example "right", which may mean the opposite of "left", but also "law".

Anyway, I appreciate all the help.  Thanks for the confirmation.

Btw, this one is going to suck.  Sperrung=8 characters, Line Spacing=12 characters.  Not going to fit without abbreviating.   ::)

Great!  Thanks so much for the help!  I have about 90% of the Document Editor done and 100% of the Shell.  I am working on the Help file about 50% done.  I have more questions, but I think translating the Help file is helping me finish some of the "loose ends" in the Document Editor.  But I am sure I will need some more assistance before I am done.   ;D
