Right, I thought by "scroll" the author was talking about a whole text section or the entire text as in a papyrus scroll, but it is ambiguous to me.  For context, here are the two Help nodes that reference the word.

Ektus:
"current section of text" (as opposed to headers/footers) should be right. But I don't know if it's some typographic vocabulary or an invention of the Signum! authors :-(
Having been used in Papyrus, too, it should be the same thing :-)
