Hier sehe ich gerade eine sehr ausführliche Beschreibung des Autors zum Inhalt des zweiten Bandes:

Including: XL/XE/XEGS/ST/TT/STACY/PC/ATW/STE/PORTFOLIO/MSTE/ST BOOK/LYNX/FALCON/JAGUAR/PROTOTYPES/GAMES/DEMOS and more all in one book :-)

Die meisten Atari-Bücher kommen aus den USA und dort ist Atari eben in erster Linie für das VCS2600 bekannt und die 8-Bit-Computer. Ich bin mir noch nicht sicher, ob ich mir das Buch kaufen werde, gerade weil es mit Art of Atari (inzwischen auch in einer erweiterten deutschen Übersetzung lieferbar) schon eine Art visuelle Geschichte über die erste Atari-Firma gab.

Andererseits stellt sich die Frage z.B. im Commodore-Bereich nicht, dort gibt es einfach mehrere Bücher über jede Epoche der Firma, wobei man für die verwirrende Geschichte um den Amiga wohl alleine eine ganze Enzyklopädie bräuchte.

So ein Atari-Buch würde mich auch reizen, aber für 90-100 mögliche Leser lohnt sich das nicht ;)
