Gotek mit HxC-Firmware!!!

Und Du hast sie mittig der anderen beiden Tasten verbaut - hat das einen besonderen Grund? Haben die anderen zwei Taszten noch die Funktion, in Einer- bzw. Zehnerschritten das Image zu wählen oder haben die auch eine neue Funktion erhalten?
Habe auch erstmal abgeschminkt, die GOTEK in den Mega ST zu verbauen - dfer Platz zwischen Typenschild und Laufwerk ist mir einfach zu eng und in den Mega ST soll evtl. auch noch die GraKa ...

Hab den gotek im 1040ste laufen, habe mir aber jetzt ein Kabel bestellt um auf hxc umzubauen. Nervt mich nämlich ständig die diskimages umzuformen und dann am ste mit jaymsa auf Stick zu packen. Und die beiden Taster habe ich wie in den Anleitungen über widerstand als floppyinterface geführt damit bei Tastendruck eine Mitteilung an den st wegen diskettebwechesl gesendet wird.

Nach dem flashen des Gotek mit der HxC firmware verhalten sich die Tasten anders. also "Vor" und "zurück", der neue mittlere Button ist dann äquivalent zum OK Button des originalen HxC. Diese Variante geht aber auch nur mit der LCD Konfiguration. die Readme von Jeff erklärt das alles genau.

Any I2C address is supported : The firmware scan automatically the I2C bus at power up (0x20-0x27 and 0x38-0x3F address range scanned)
So there is no specific requirement about the I2C address setting.
To connect the I2C LCD, you have to connect SDA & SCL at the J7 connector (see below).
Please note that 2 additionnals 4.7Kohms pull up resistors (+5V) are needed on SCL & SDA.
the +5V and GND wire can be connected on the programming connector (see below) :
