Riebl ethernet card

Magicnet could be good, but gives me still a lot of troubles. According me, it's not finished (somewhere between alpha and early beta status).

So, try first the card with Sting. You can use the card with sting.

On my TT, I use Magic, together with Sting, instead  Magicnet. They work together. I think this will result in a working solution.

Remarks:

1. With my Riebl card and Sting, I could only ping to myself. Couldn't connect to network with this card. I never checked it further. I use now netusbee. Works very well.

2. Maybe, you can contact Roger Burrows or Uwe Seimet. They use a riebl card, and have a lot of experience.

Hi Mark, thanks for the Links. The Question is does MagiCNet run with MiNT *.XIF Drivers by simple rename the Driver from *.XIF to *.MIF ... ? On my Atari TT machine I try the ENEC.MIF with a selfmade EtherNEC Card on the Romport and it run´s very well. Anyway, the Riebl Card (is a new Card from myatari over ebay us) run under MiNT98 but not under MagiCNet. I try some MiNTNET XIF Drivers in different version but not all.

By the Time I think MiNT driver don´t work by simple rename as *.MIF Driver for MagiCNet. I don´t know. Hit this only the MiNT Drivers from Thorsten Lang ?

Ich habe auf meinem Milan eine NE2000-ISA IIRC mit dem umbenannten MiNT98 Treiber laufen. Kann aber sein, daß da irgendwo noch die MiNT Cookie Abfrage rausgepatcht werden mußte. Allerdings komme  ich erst in 3 Wochen wieder an den Rechner zum Nachschauen (Weihnachtsurlaub). An meinen Falcons läuft der ROM-Port Adapter mit Genius LAN, ebenfalls unter MagiCNet,
