Hallo,

ich habe mir die Live/CD von Aranym/Afros
heruntergeladen.

Da hat sich eingies getan, nicht nur beim
schönen Startbildschirm mit Aranym LOGO.

Wie kringe ich das System genauso auf einen
Computer mit einer leeren Festplatte?
(CPU x86)

Wer kann mir helfen?

Hallo Martin, im readme.txt im ordner boot auf der cd steht:

You can start the LiveCD from DOS prompt. Boot your DOS and type:

X:
CD \BOOT\DOS
slax.bat

(replace X: by your CDROM drive letter)

If you do not have DOS installed, or it is not able to access your CD, try to boot from a diskette. You can use FreeDos from http://www.freedos.org which has already a CD drivers included



Eine einfache möglichkeit das auf die Festplatte zu packen geht dann so:

1.Partitioniere deine Festplatte mit FAT16 oder FAT32. Eine kleine Partition für FreeDOS (C:) mit max.100MB und eine große Partition (D:) für Aranym, so ab 150MB aufwärts, je nach dem was du an Atari-Programmen noch hinzufügen möchtest.

1.1 Du mußt dir noch eine DOS-Diskette anfertigen wo die CDROM-Treiber eingebunden sind.

2.Installiere FreeDOS auf Laufwerk C:

3.Kopiere den Inhalt der Aranym-CD auf Laufwerk D:

4.Schreibe dir eine aranym.bat mit folgenden DOS-Kommandos:

 D:
 CD \BOOT\DOS
 slax.bat


5. Das wars. Wenn du die aranym.bat in die autoexec.bat einträgst wird nach dem Booten gleich aranym duchgestartet.
