Is in the control register b8 and b9 not used?

The control register has only 8 bits, b7..b0. When you say b8 & b9, which bits are you asking about?

Was my fault.
What I mean, is it correct when you read the control register b4 show you the status from the drive? Bit is zero is OK or bit is one it have an error.

Control register b4 can be read to determine if the card is present or not. If it's zero, the card is present.
