Genau so ist es!! Wozu eine Unverschämt teure Software nutzen wenn es mittlerweile Gute Alternativen gibt. Sicher ist Magic ein rundum Sorglos Paket das will ich garnicht bestreiten.

Maybe, we need to split the treat. And separate this with tittle "Magic vs Mint on Milan".

I could buy Magic 6.2 at ebay for not to much.  ;) I use it together with jinnee on my Milan.

I tried it first with Thing, but I personally can not configure it, the way I like it. I changed to Jinnee, and now I like it a lot.

On my falcon Magic is much pickier than mint. (It looks faster - Don't know it is ?) Look at the bash shell at mint, how long it takes for a start-up.

So, that's the reason why I installed Magic. Further, I'm to lazy to install mint. And what desktop do I  use ? Gemini is very old, terradesk is may be OK, but very Spartan.  With Jinnee, some-one reported that It has some issues with mint+xaaes. (delay and error message that it can't load editobj.slb)

So, we are now with 11 people, still having (and using) a Milan ?

Well I hope "we" are a few more having and using a Milan!

Also, wer einen Milan besitzt und/oder nutzt und sich noch nicht gemeldet hat, der möchte das vielleicht jetzt noch tun...
