It was meant as a general comment on the state of Falcon "clock patches". Some Falcons work best with one patch, some Falcons work best with a different patch, some Falcons (like the one in this thread) require an additional resistor. Seems very "try and error" to me. Or in Miro's words: "The truth is that nobody really knows what’s happening there".

Dieser Widerstand hat nichts mit anderen Widerständen / Fixes von anderen Mods zu tun und hat nichts mit Falken zu tun, es war ein Ups meinerseits, als ich die neue Uhrenplatine entwarf. Das Problem tauchte erst bei kohli79s Falcon auf. Als ich seine Maschine bekam und die Uhr testete, erkannte ich das Problem und der Widerstand war die Lösung. Dies führte dazu, dass die Amplitude der Uhr im Laufe der Zeit abnahm, weshalb die Maschine von kohli79 nur wenige Augenblicke arbeitete, bevor sie ausfiel. Das Uhrenproblem selbst ist längst gelöst und dokumentiert.

@exxos as I suffer(ed) from the same problem as @kohli79 (it took 15 - 30 minutes here until the sound crackling began, depending if the Falcon was already "warm") today I soldered in the additional 100K resistor (got an exxos clockpatch of course ;)).

Well, the Falcon is running beside me as I'm writing, with the test program DMA2DSP.PRG.

After two and a half hours everything is still green!
Without resistor I should have get red spikes after 15 to 30 minutes already.
Will let it run for another two hours or so to be safe, but it looks very promising so far! 8)

When everything is final and veryfied (case closed, another test etc.), I'll also post in your forum.
