NVRAM durch Batterie-Ersatz

When I have such battery mod I would remove the NVRAM chip.

I have soldered new sockets in all my Falcon although the nvram was still ok,

I replaced the original NVRAM for a DS12887+ (don't use the DS12887A) the new NVrAM last much longer then the CR battery

HOW TO RESET A NEW DS12887+:

CONTROL / ALTERNATE / RIGHT SHIFT / UNDO to reset at startup. I got this working on 1 Falcon.
The others just gave a black screen. Then I used the diagnostic cartridge this did start, then I did an RTC check and memory check. These actions will make the NVRAM work.
I did use Bootconf from Uwe Seimet to setup the NVRAM config. But the language settings didnot work ok. Then I used NVRAM from Centek this program gave crc error, after setup the nvram settings the NVRAM is ok, no more crc errors.

Ich habe noch meinen C-Lab Falcon MKX nochmal getestet, der hat auch einen Batterie-Ersatz als NVRAM, die hat er schon seit Mitte Juni 2016 drin, und siehe da Uhrzeit und Datum wird immer noch korrekt angezeigt. Schätze mal, das es an der Qualität der CR2032 Batterie liegt.
Hat jemand auch was in der Richtung festgestellt ?
